My HDTV.

Yes I am spoiled in that I have roomate(s) that indulge in stuff that they have no business buying. The latest is a 55 inch Sony HDTV.

We have all HD channels, so this time of year (football season) is my favorite time of year. Tonight I sat in amazement, as I watched my hometown Dallas Cowboys win their regular season opener. I mean, The picture clarity is unreal. I will never go back to anything less than HD for the rest of my life. The best way I can describe HD to people, is like this; Imagine looking at the best photography you can think of, but in motion, all the time. Thank God for this amazing technology.

For the next 16 weekends i will be doing nothing but watching football in high definition.

Why I am doing this…

I have always been fascinated by technology. I can remember when I was very young I had a set of walkie talkies that I would use for several different reasons. I once discovered that if i sat in the bathroom, and held on of the walkie’s in a certain direction, i could pick up my older brother’s phone conversations with his girlfriend. This came in handy for various blackmail purposes.

The main reason I chose to become a Telecommunications major is because I know that I would enjoy the classes because they involved things that I loved. Music, movies and just entertainment in general. I don’t know if i will be using all of this information once i get into the “real world,” but at least I got to learn about things that I genuinely love doing.
